    Inspired by the leadership of Erika Vohman the feature documentary, Seeds of Inspiration, tells the story of how the Maya Nut has empowered rural and indigenous women in Centra America and Mexico. Millions of Impoverished rural people are destroying the very thing that can bring them redemption: the Maya Nut tree (Brosimum alicastrum).

    Today in Central America, families suffer from poverty, malnutrition, unemployment, illiteracy, drought, environmental degradation and cultural erosion in the very same region where the splendid kingdom of the Maya once reigned supreme.
Seeds of Inspiration is the first documentary film to tell the story of how the rediscovery of the Maya Nut is motivating forest conservation and reforestation, improving food security, health, incomes and women’s self esteem.
